Manufactured in 1995, Shuttle belonged to the third generation of MPV. This third generation saw that the car actually got bigger in size, which means that it gained entry into a larger class. This puts it in direct competition with the Toyota Previa, as well as Volkswagen Sharan. The engine was a 2.2 litre, which could deliver a horsepower of 150. The engine was to be operated with a 4-speed automatic transmission system. The car's design derived from Honda Accord, and consisted of 2 trim levels, which included the ES and the LS.

When the new version of the Shuttle was released in 1998, there were some minor changes to the car. This included the upgrade of the engine to 2.3 liter. Furthermore, it was sold in the USA market by the name of the Honda Odyssey. This vehicle is known as LaGrande in Japan. Honda Stream, which was released in 2001, succeeded the Honda Shuttle, when the production of the Shuttle was cut down.
