FIAT Croma · photos, packages and modifications

There were two cars made by Fiat referred as the Croma. One model was designed in 1986 and another one started in 1996. When you consider about the model that was introduced in 1986, it was built on the Type Four chassis as a 5-door hatchback that was also the concept used for the Lancia Thema, Saab 9000 and Alfa Romeo 164. This model was a large family car, which was replaced by the Tempra in the later year.

When you consider about the 1991 model, it was the facelift of the first generation Croma. The last modification of this model was made before, it was introduced in 1996. It was also resurrected as a large cross-over Wagon in 2005. The engine line-up of this model was consisted of a direct injection model, a number of diesel units and a turbocharged version.

The second generation of the Croma was represented by the 2005 model of this car that too in 1996 after the first version was pulled from the market. The car was moved out to the crossover wagon sector from the large family sector.

The upright tailgate was fitted into the Croma like the Fiat Stilo model. Now this model was designed based on the platform of GM Epsilon and the components were shared with the Saab 9-3 and the Opel Vectra.
